Ingredients:
- ½ kg aloo
- 2 tsp turmeric
- Salt as per taste
- 4 tsp Oil
- 1 tsp Jeera
- 2 ½ tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- Few coriander leaves
- Few mint leaves
- 2 inch ginger
- 12 garlic
- 4 green chilies
- Water as required
- 1 big size onion, chopped in small size
- 2 tomatoes, chopped in small size
- 1 tbsp garam masala
- 1 tsp Kasuri methi
Other preparation:
- Wash and peel the potatoes, cut into cubes
- Add ½ tbsp salt and ½ tbsp turmeric
- Pressure cook for 1 whistle
- Add garlic, ginger, green chilies, coriander leaves and mint leaves to a jar and grind them completely like a fine paste by adding water to it

- Heat the oil in a non-stick pan
- Add boiled potatoes and fry them for a minute
- Add ½ tsp red chilli powder, salt and ¼ tbsp turmeric, mix everything slightly and fry for a 2 minutes in low flame
- Take out from the pan
- Add oil to the same pan, add jeera to it and fry for a while
- Add onion to it and fry until onion gets transparent
- Add tomatoes and mix everything and cook everything for a minute, maintain low to medium flame
- Add coriander paste to it and mix everything, cook for 2 minutes in low flame
- Add red chilli powder, salt, coriander powder, turmeric and garam masala to it and mix everything completely and cook until oil separates from them
- Add some water to it and cook for another 5 minutes
- Now Add fried potatoes to it and mix everything together and cover the lid, cook for 5 minutes in low to medium flame
- Add crushed kasuri methi to it mix well and cover the lid for a minute and turn off the flame
