Sweet corn is a variety of maize grown for human consumption with a high sugar content. Sweet corn is picked when immature (milk stage) and prepared and eaten as a vegetable rather than the grain.

Here we are using rice flour to bind the ingredients and give a nice texture to the dosa and the combination of rice flour gives crispness to the dosa.

So before it gets too late , let's learn the simplest way of making dosa with sweet corn. You can store this in the refrigerator for a day, but it is better to use it on the same day.

Ingredients:

  1. 1 cup moong dal
  2. 1 sweet corn 🌽 
  3. 6 green chilies 
  4. 1 big onion 
  5. Salt as per taste 
  6. Few curry leaves 
  7. 2 tsp rice flour 
  8. Water as required 
  9. Oil

Preparation of sweet corn dosa with step-by-step instructions and video:

  1. Wash and soak the moon dal for 3 to 4 hours
  2. Add the moon dal and sweet corn to the jar
  3. Add green chilies, curry leaves, onion and salt
  4. Grind them as a dosa batter by adding water to it
  5. Transfer to a bowl and rice flour, some water And mix everything 
  6. Heat the dosa pan
  7. And spread the batter evenly like a dosa maintain low flame, cook for a while And apply oil to it now maintain medium to high flame 
  8. Flip the dosa and cook for a while
  9. That's it soft and smooth sweet corn dosa is ready to serve
