Green chilli and peanuts pickle for rice preparation:

Ingredients:

  1. 2 tsp oil
  2. 15 Green chillies
  3. 1 big size tomato
  4. 2 tsp peanuts
  5. ¾ tsp turmeric powder
  6. 1 tsp cumin seeds 
  7. 10 garlic
  8. Small lemon size tamarind 
  9. Salt as per taste 
  10. Water if required 

Preparation of Green chilli and peanut pickle for rice with step-by-step instructions and images:

  1. Heat the oil in a heavy bottomed pan 
  2. Add green chilies to the pan and fry them until for half cooked
  3. Add tomato to that and stir everything thing cook for 5 minutes@tastyyummiest
  4. Add peanuts and mix everything together and cook for another 5 minutes 
  5. Add turmeric powder and garlic stir everything and cook for a while@tastyyummiest
  6. Turn off the flame and add tamarind and garlic to that, give a slight stir so that raw smell goes out of it, through the heat of the pan
  7. Let everything cool down add to the jar and add salt as per, grind slightly like coarse paste @tastyyummiest
  8. Add water if required, and remove to the serving bowl

For thadaka preparation:

Ingredients:

  1. 2 tsp oil
  2. 1 tsp cumin seeds 
  3. 1 tsp mustard seeds 
  4. 2 dry red chilies 
  5. Few curry leaves 
  6. ½ tsp  hing
  7. ½ tsp turmeric powder 

Preparation of thadaka:

  1. Add oil to the same pan
  2. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds and fry until they splutter 
  3. Add red chillies and fry them and hing
  4. Add curry leaves and turmeric powder and turn off the flame
  5. Add this thadaka to the green chill and groundnut pickle 
  6. That's it green chillies and peanut pickle ready to serve
