Ladies finger is a gooey green vegetable that is equally loved and hated for its taste and texture, but it is rich in fibre and other nutrients like vitamin A, B, and C with other minerals. 

Benefits of ladies finger:

  1. It Prevents Anaemia, Ladyfinger is a rich source of vitamin K, folate and iron, all of which are helpful for anaemic patients. This will naturally healthily increase your haemoglobin levels.

Other preparation:

  • Wash the ladies finger and wipe the water or dry for some time, so that the stickiness of the ladyfinger doesn't have

Ingredients:

  1. ½ kg ladies finger
  2. 20 green chillies, chopped in small size
  3. 2 sprig curry leaves
  4. Few coriander leaves
  5. 1 tsp coriander powder
  6. Salt to taste
  7. 4 tsp oil
  8. 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  9. 1 onion, chopped in small size
  10. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  11. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  12. ½ tsp hing

  • Here I am using green chillies according to the spice of the chillies.

Preparation of ladyfinger curry with step By step instructions:

  1. Heat the oil in a pan
  2. Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, curry leaves, and hing to it and stir everything fry until they splitter
  3. Add onion and green chillies to it and stir everything, saute it until it gets transparent
  4. Add ginger-garlic paste and turmeric powder to it and stir everything and cook ante raw goes out of it
  5. Add ladies finger to it and mix everything, close the lid and cook for 10 minutes in low to medium flame, cook until the stickiness leaves from the ladyfinger
  6. Add salt as per taste and cook until the tender goes out of the ladies finger
  7. Add coriander powder and coriander leaves to it, stir everything and close the lid for a while and turn off the flame
